The flowers, which bloom from summer to autumn, are small, ranging in color from pale pink to white, and are beautiful as they appear in long, drooping spike-like shapes.

Persicaria taquetii is primarily propagated by seeds. Mature seeds should be harvested in the autumn, dried, and refrigerated for storage until the following spring, when they can be sown.
