The Korea Forest Owners Federation (Chairman Lee Seok-hyung) held a signing ceremony for business cooperation on the 3rd with Shinwha Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Chan-wook), G&V Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-geum), and Woori Seed Group (CEO Park Gong-young) to promote the consumption of domestic timber and to discover and foster new growth businesses in the forestry industry.
G&V Co., Ltd. is a company that developed eco-friendly restrooms that improve upon the shortcomings and problems of existing簡易 and portable toilets. They produce products using domestic timber to not only eliminate the inconvenience of using restrooms during outdoor activities, including at recreational forests, but also to harmonize with the surrounding landscape.
Woori Seed Group is a company widely known by the name ‘Woori Flower.’ As a company specializing in wildflower breeding and export, it exports ‘Woori Flower’ to 12 countries worldwide and produces products such as the Eco-Hole system, a civil engineering block used for pest control in mountainous areas, and Eco-Fences that do not require watering, as well as slope greening. It is a specialized company.
Through this business cooperation agreement, the Korea Forest Owners Federation aims not only to increase the utilization of domestic timber but also to secure growth engines by expanding the business scope of forest owners and the market for the forest industry, and to seek a shift in the direction of the future forest industry.
